The beautiful hamlet of Battlesbridge is nestled on the banks of the River Crouch midway between Chelmsford and Southend-on-Sea close to the A130 with easy access from the M25, A12, A127 and A13 roads.
Battlesbridge also has a rail station on the Crouch Valley Line which links to the Liverpool Street- Southend Line.
Battlesbridge is home to one of the largest Antiques Centres in the Country with over 70 dealers housed in five period buildings. There are also two country pubs serving good food and drink. It is also well situated for exploring the 'County of Hidden Treasures' with its varied attractions from the RHS Hyde Hall Gardens to the seaside town of Southend. Business guests will find Battlesbridge well situated for the towns of Basildon, Chelmsford and Southend.

Ashdale Guest Accommodation
Ashdale is a large three bedroomed bungalow in the village which is guest accommodation available for longer stays and weekend breaks.
The hotel style accommodation is suited to those wishing to stay locally for a few days, or large parties. This includes individuals away on business, people visiting the area for holidays or to visit friends and even people attending local weddings or parties.
Rooms in our hotel / guest accommodation can be booked individually or the entire bungalow can be hired out exclusively. Maximum sleeping capacity is 9 persons plus two rooms will take a cot for infants.
Although not star rated by the Tourist Board, Ashdale is very comfortable and well equiped. Again, broadband internet access is available to visitors staying in this hotel / guest accommodation.

Rates start at £35 single and £40 double occupancy self catering, breakfast if required is taken at Frasers bed & breakfast for a supplement of £5 per person.
